Day #2816 (Thu., Sep. 21, 2017) – Teacher’s Work Day
The photo to the left shows Katie’s mask that they let her decorate yesterday.
No school for Katie today as it is teacher work day. We were noticing the mess of the living room at the end of the day and it seems that a lot of the mess is made by Katie and not Bobby. We specifically noted those items that had “decorations” on them. Katie, not Bobby, would have done those.
I went to see the foot specialist this morning regarding the ulcer that I have on my right foot. She said that in one week it had shrunk 1/2 of its size. She went on to add that it should be totally healed in 3-4 weeks.
At noon today, I went to Sam’s Club to pick up my glasses. I didn’t think I needed distance glasses but once I put them on I could see the difference. The optometrist said that I might find that my eyes don’t tire as easily now.
This evening I gave Bobby the measuring tape out of the toy toolset I picked up the other day. He kept saying “doggie” as he handed me the end of the tape. It seems he equates this to a dog leash, and when you think about it, it does kind of look like that.
