Day #211 (Mon., Aug 2, 2010) – Taste Of Fresh Water
Remember that little baby doll that speaks? Well, little Katie seems to have lost interest in it. I can almost hear her saying “Oh mom, that was so last week…”
7:35pm – My mother-in-law is out on the patio with little Katie. There is a mosquito net that fits all over the playyard…no mosquito problems for little Katie today. Little Katie is playing with the label on the sheet. She seems to be fascinated with labels these days.
I went out to the patio with my guitar a little later in the evening. A little serenade for little Katie. She liked the music but was more interested in playing with my foot which I pushed into the side of the playyard.
I fed little Katie some “mush” later in the evening. She loves to kick various things that you put next to her feet. I think that the little toy cell phone (see photo to the left) is her favorite thing to kick.
After eating a meal we take little Katie to the sink to wash her mouth. She always sticks her tongue out to get a taste of fresh water…
