Day #2979 (Sat., Mar. 3, 2018) – Making Dinosaur Eggs
When I woke up this morning my wife was already up with the kids making “these” on the dining room table. “These” (see photo to the left) are dinosaur eggs, made with the flour and salt I got from Food Lion last night. Inside each “egg” is a plastic dinosaur. The kids will be fishing for these inside two pools filled with wood chips on Bobby’s birthday one week from today.
The kids enjoy dancing to “La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin. Katie wanted to add another aspect to the dance today. When I stop the music they are to “freeze”. Bobby doesn’t quite get the gist of this yet as he will “freeze” whenever he wants.
The kids spent quite a bit of time running around the house trying to trap Robin in the cage, much to the chagrin of my wife and I. They really enjoyed it. Robin not so much.
Guenther came over to play this afternoon. The kids played dentist with Katie as the nurse, Guenther as the dentist, and Bobby as the patient. At one point Katie put Scotch tape over Bobby’s mouth to fix his “overbite”??? 🙂
