Day #3122 (Tue., Jul 24, 2018) – Lego Sticker Book
Katie got a chance to ride the horses today. Apparently, Storm & Destiny are the two rather aggressive horses. Tomorrow they will let Katie ride Sophie, which is a much more docile horse.
Bobby brought a sticker book back from Arnesa’s today (see photo to the left). It was in his backpack. While we were listening to Katie do her songs in her bedroom this evening Bobby ran to his backpack to get it. It dealt with various Lego figures, such as firemen and policemen. He enjoyed peeling off the stickers and putting them into place. I’m amazed at how precise he is, even at three years old. If the sticker is not placed on the place properly he will peel it off and keep at it till it is done right. Sometimes he will elicit my help if it is too difficult for him.
This evening Bobby was not too much into either bananas or cheese, but he did eat a big bowl of stew that my wife made in the Instant Pot. He was full of energy. He threw a Lego that almost hit my wife in the eye, so he got to go to bed early.
Whenever Bobby is being put to bed by his mother, if I happen to walk down the hallway he will yell out “Night Daddy”. Of course, I have to yell back “Night Bobby”.
