Day #3125 (Fri., Jul 27, 2018) – Mission Impossible Fallout
I was awakened this morning by Steven running down the hallway yelling for Guenther. He opened Katie’s door when he heard Maple and then left. My wife had taken Katie to the farm camp bus and Bobby to Arnesa’s place.
I went to see the new Mission Impossible movie, Fallout, at Silver Spot this afternoon. It was incredible. Hard to believe that Tom Cruise does his own stunts.
On the way home from work I stopped off at the Dollar Store near the former KMart in Durham where I used to live. I got a little red all-terrain vehicle for Bobby and a panda dog toy for either Katie or Maple (see photo to the left). I gave them as “Special Presents” when I came into the house this evening.
I guess they didn’t even ask Katie if she wanted to go on a trail ride at farm camp today. Doesn’t sound like it’s as “kid-friendly” as Spence’s Farm. She did have Chinese classes in the morning, but I don’t think we will be going back. Cost around $300 for the week…expensive.
Bobby lost his all-terrain vehicle when he was playing outside this evening so he wasn’t able to take it to bed. Drama.
