Day #3260 (Sun., Dec. 9, 2018) – First Snowfall
We woke up to a “Wintery Wonderland” this morning (see photo to the right). It started snowing around 3 am, has been snowing up til this morning, and is forecast to snow til 7 pm this evening. The result is the photo to the left.
Maple has been sleeping all day. Is there something wrong with her? She did play in the snow and had fun chasing Ginger, but she usually has a little “dog nap” and is up raring to go again. Today she just slept and slept…
The “Elves on the Shelf” were near the microwave early this morning with Twinkle hugging Combo. When Katie and Bobby came back from playing outside they were on top of the armoire with Combo sitting normally and Twinkle standing on her head. Katie got quite the kick out of that.
Bobby brought his scooter inside yesterday and has been riding it up and down the living room all day.
It’s amazing how good some simple things taste. I put some mascarpone cheese with jam on a graham cracker this evening and boy did it ever taste good. Maybe the cold outside made this comfort food taste even better? My wife and I had several of them… Bobby of course only wanted the jam, but I did manage to have him eat it off the cracker.
