Day #3753 (Wed., Apr. 15, 2020) – Stimulus Check Arrives
The $3400 stimulus check from the federal government arrived. $1200 for each adult, and $500 for each child. I drove it to my wife’s ATM this morning but we got a phone call around 10 am saying that the card reader could not read it. As a result, I wrote a second check and my wife drove it to the drive thru. This time it worked. One note is that with the drive thru the check will instantly go to your balance. If you leave it at the ATM they will process it when they get to it later in the day.
The teachers at Glenwood are trying to conduct class “online”, but there is a lot of “bugs” that need to be ironed out. Today Katie had some music homework and there were various “blues” pieces for her to go through. They included Elvis Presley’s rendition of “Hound Dog”. Is this online class format the wave of the future? We’ll see…
The photo to the right shows Bobby playing a video game…one of his greatest joys in life it seems.
Bobby is still sleeping in Katie’s room. Tonight he forgot to wear his mask.
