Day #3875 (Sat., Aug. 15, 2020) – Last Saturday Before School
I was planning to have a movie day with the kids today. I even made some gummies for it. Well, I had a nap this afternoon and when I got up, they were gone. Katie ate them. My wife told me that they were not that “gummy”. Looks like I need to add more tallow powder to the mix next time.
Well, today is the last Saturday before school. You can see a photo of our “eager kids” in the photo to the right.
I would love to get back to playing guitar, but I just don’t have any time…
We’re planning on transitioning to “Taylor Swift” songs in Katie’s piano practice so that she will have more interest in practicing.
We had a game of “Otter In The PJ’s” with Maple this evening. The kids put Maple’s otter plush toy in their PJ bottoms and run down the hallway. They try to get to Katie’s bedroom before Maple grabs the otter…they more often than not don’t make it.
