I got the chance to see little Katie for a few moments before I went to work today. I wonder what she thinks about me being home some days and then “disappearing” for others? She is too young to realize the concept of “daddy needs to work”…
I met my wife and little Katie at the post office at noon so that little Katie and I could get a passport. Little Katie was very cooperative and stared everyone down for the most part. They want you to have an “expressionless face”, and she was more than happy to oblige. My wife gave her a little plush doggie in case she started to act up, but it was not required. The lady said that we should have it in about 6 weeks…
Who says that bowls are meant to be used to eat food out of. The photo to the right shows another use… Do you see little Katie’s curls?
Little Katie was not her normal joyful self in the playyard this evening. She was sucking on things and drooling like mad…I think it’s back to “teething time”. My wife gave her a pacifier from the refrigerator and that kept her entertained for a while…but she was crying like mad when we eventually put her to bed. I suggested we give her a bit of baby tylenol and my wife said that as soon as she had it she didn’t even try to sit up any more (which is her norm these days). She just laid back and went to bed…
