Day #422 (Tue., Mar. 1, 2011) – Investigating The Tub
Katie put a book in her shopping cart this evening and proudly pushed it up and down the hallway.
I put Lawrence Welk on for a while, then shut it off so I could play with Katie. She was having nothing to do with it. She kept pointing at the television and saying “Ta” til I relented and put it back on. She is fascinated with that show. As soon as the opening theme music starts she looks at me and gives me this broad-faced smile.
Katie loves to throw things around. If there is something on a table her objective is obvious…clear it. She loves to throw toys and stuff off her high chair while she is eating. My wife found just the device to prevent her from throwing her bowl off the chair (see photo to the left). It’s a baby bowl with a suction cup on the bottom that sticks it to the high chair table. This is one less thing to worry about now…
Katie had a bath this evening and it’s getting hard to keep her in one place. She roams around the tub touching and investigating anything within her reach. This evening she was fascinated with the lever on the tub spout that lets the water out.
