Day #5942 – (Mon., Apr. 13, 2026) – Garmin Watch Output

Bobby took his bike to school this morning. It’s interesting that his new Garmin watch sends us a message that tells us when he has crossed a nearby intersection on the way to Huband.

Katie was debating on whether to take guitar class off today, but since she hasn’t been there in about a week, she decided to go to school for a full day today. I drove her to Vanier at 8:50 am and picked her up at 3:10 pm. Despite missing so many guitar classes she has an A, which she credits to learning how to play the viola.

Isaac and Esca came over to play with Bobby this afternoon. There was a bit of drama in that Bobby went through the main car gate and it would not open via the garage opener. Problem solved and I was able to get Katie on time… There is a little lever on the box that will reset it! Esca’s mom took both Esca and Isaac home.

After picking Katie up we went for a drive, one of the first times we have been on a drive for a while. She was busy with her driving class all weekend. We stopped off at McDonalds where I picked up a black coffee and Katie got her first McDonald’s iced coffee and some chicken nuggets. She said that the iced coffee was “okay”, but certainly no Starbucks.

My wife, Katie, and Bobby, went over to see our neighbor Carolyn this evening. She was saying how Finn, the dog who comes to play with Nishka, is not only obsessed with Barney the cat, he starred at her riding helmet for 3 hours the other day! Katie was saying how she wants to go out with Carolyn to see the horses at the farm she works at. You can see Nishka & Maple having some “doggie fun” in the photo to the left.

I bought an add-on to the Motley Fool “Stock Advisor” called “Epic” today. It highlights among other things, 5 great AI stocks to get in at the early stage. It cost $299, but I will make this back easily with just one winning stock pick. I’m looking through the new kids on the block for the next NVDA!
