I got to sleep in today as Katie didn’t need to be taken to Vanier till 12:15 pm this afternoon. Bobby was sick last night and it continued through out the day today, so no school for him. In actuality, he vomited 5 times last night and this morning… Poor fellow…
Fortunately Maple is doing fine (see photo to the right).
After picking Katie up at 3:10 pm we drove around a bit. Ended up at downtown Comox, past Benino’s, when Katie said that she was hungry and wanted to go to Wendy’s, so off we went. Prices of eating out are OUTRAGIOUS these days, and are only going to get worst given the drama at the Strait of Hormus. Katie bought a “Dave’s Single Combo”, which included a single cheeseburger, medium fries, and medium strawberry-lemonade, for $15+… It’s getting so even fast food, let alone a restaurant outing, is getting too expensive.
We asked if Bobby wanted anything but he’s so sick that he would not be able to keep it down. He could barely keep down a teaspoon of apple sauce.
My wife gave him some anti-nausea medicine a few times as well as fever/painkillers and that seemed to help. He has had a high fever since this morning.
Katie is very excited that she got Brazil as her country for the upcoming MUN conference.
