Bobby is still home sick today. I took Katie to school this morning and went back to pick her up before her scheduled time as she was in pain and didn’t want to go to guitar class.
Nishka and Maple love to get together and play ball (see photo to the right).
The grass is growing on our property in the Comox Valley. With my leg issues it’s been hard to get the mower out to deal with it, so the grass is growing longer and longer. The front lawn is more in need of a trim than the paddocks, but the whole property could use with a “once over”. I don’t think I will risk it before our big trip to Victoria this weekend…I want to be sure I can at least walk around…
Once Bobby feels better it would be a good job for him. I used to mow the whole motel in Nova Scotia when I was his age. Maybe I can tie it to getting him a new bike… 🙂 Katie expressed an interest in mowing as well, but perhaps she is too busy with homework these days.
There was the option for me to take her to Daisy’s this afternoon for violin class, but she opted to do it online. Daisy is really excited to hear about Katie’s autism and ADHD diagnosis results:))
Katie did some work on “Brazil” for Model UN.
Regarding my wife’s work in Duncan, Emma (the Cowichan director) was presenting to her boss (one of VPs of Island Health) today. My wife sent her some numbers last night and she was very grateful. She first got an email from Donna, then Emma herself emailed my wife later this afternoon. Tomorrow she will have her monthly 1-1 meeting with Donna.
My wife appears to be getting what Bobby has. She felt better after a bath and a cup of hot tea but now it looks like Katie might be getting sick as well.
There is news that Dunkin Donuts is coming back to Canada! Katie is very excited that they might open one up in Courtenay!!!
