The kids and my wife are all sick in the main house today so I didn’t need to even leave the comfort of the Barn Suite, but I did go to McDonalds for a small black coffee later in the evening.
Katie sent the two emails on the right to her teachers to let them know that she was/is sick.
Katie is doubtful that she will be going to school tomorrow. The kids are off school on Friday for a teacher work day, and Saturday we are leaving for Victoria for her autism test so she doesn’t want to be sick for that.
As I look out at our lawns from the comfort of the Barn Suite I see them badly in need of tending, but I don’t want to injure my leg right now, especially with the trip to Victoria coming up. My leg is getting better, but still not 100%, so I might see how things go on the Monday when we get back.
Having said that… Bobby has expressed an interest in getting a BMX bike like the ones that Huband Elementary has. I was thinking of getting him one as a graduation present this year. Maybe I can link the two? You mow the lawns and I will buy you a bike? When I was his age I was mowing all the lawns of the motel I grew up in… We’ll see…
