Everyone in the “Main House” is still sick today! Tomorrow is a teacher work day, and Monday is Victoria Day, so the kids will have four full days to recover!
I see where The Guess Who (see photo to the right) are going to be giving a concert in Victoria on Tuesday, August 25th. The thought crossed my mind of taking Katie and Bobby to see it, but the tickets are rather expensive and I doubt that they will truly enjoy it…
I did a Facetime this evening with Katie and Bobby to discuss it, and they don’t think that they would enjoy it enough to justify the tickets. Bobby said that it was too long and Katie was worried that it would be too loud. Seeing them will be so nostalgic for me I don’t think I care how lousy or loud the sound will be!
Having said all this, Katie and Bobby are welcome to come down with me to Victoria to spend the night. They can hang out in the hotel or Air B&B and eat pizza… 🙂 I will probably only be staying for only one night. Drive into town, see the concert, sleep at an Air B&B, then come back home to Courtenay.
