Bobby drove his e-bike to school today. I took Katie to Vanier at 10:20 am and then picked her up at 3:10 pm. Katie had to stay later today as she needed to go to guitar class…she has been missing so many as of late. She did complete a fingerstyle assignment, so that made her happy. You can see Bobby riding his e-bike home from Huband in the photo to the right.
Katie and Bobby have been missing quite a few group sessions with Miss Daisy. It would be good for them to attend as the recital is coming up next month, but Katie has too much homework today (i.e.: Brazil for MUN) and Bobby was not feeling well. We still have a bit over a month before the recital.
I stopped off at Black’s Cycle in Comox this afternoon to inquire about BMX and Quad bikes. Bobby told me that he wanted a BMX bike and the other day he told Katie that one of his friends is getting a Quad bike and he was looking forward to riding it. Black’s doesn’t sell BMX bikes, and the guy was not sure what Bobby meant by “Quad bike”.
The sales guy told me that Beaufort Cycle and Dodge City Cycle, both in Cumberland, sell BMX bikes, so I’m going to give them a call and possibly drop in to see what they have.
