I took Katie to Vanier at 11:40 am this morning and picked her up at 3:10 pm.
Bobby’s school went to the local pool today so we kept him home as he’s still “sick”. My wife and him went for a bike ride later today. His rear bike brake is not working so I will take it into Canadian Tire to fix. I could probably fix it, but let’s see how their “30 day” warranty works. Katie mentioned that she would like a new bike as well, so we’ll check them out as well.
On the drive home from Vanier I wanted to get Katie a small graduation gift (as opposed to the big ones) so we stopped off at the local bakery stand and she bought a bag of cookies (see photo to the right).
I stopped off at Shar-Kare this afternoon to get some chicken grower and layer food as well as some shavings.
Bobby was frustrated this evening as he was having computer game problems. The solution? As usual… Reboot. Back in business!
Katie was feeling better this evening. She was feeling down today as it seemed the girls she was socializing with were ignoring her. She plans to do a lot of socializing this summer, which is nice.
The chickens love the watermelon rinds that I am giving them.
