I dropped Katie off at school this morning and picked her up shortly after noon. She was a bit late as she received her yearbook today and wanted to have some kids and teachers sign it. She plans to take it to school tomorrow and have some more people sign it. I encouraged this as I said after tomorrow you will probably never have the chance to get anyone sign it again. It’s a good “keepsake” to look back upon to remember not only classmates, but what they thought of you, and how far you have come.
Bobby stayed home from school today as he is still sick. Hopefully he will be well enough to attend the school pool party tomorrow.
We had a 3:30 pm Zoom call with the lady who performed Katie’s autism test when we drove down to Victoria last month. The result? Yes! Katie is both adhd and autistic. She now has the paperwork to confirm this, and will receive a tax break moving forward. They plan to send this paperwork on to her doctor and teachers so that they will be aware of this outcome and how to best work with her moving forward.
