Isaac’s parents dropped him off at our house today as they have a very busy day and Isaac will be attending Esca’s birthday party along with Bobby. We dropped Isaac and Bobby’s stuff off at Esca’s house and then were off to their viola/violin recital.
As was the case last year, the recital was on the lawn at Miss Daisy’s parent’s house. Katie was one of the volunteers to help organize the kids and get them ready for their performances. They had various lawn games strewn about for the kids when they had some free time, and snacks afterwards!
Our neighbor Carolyn showed up to show her support.
Both kids did well, and Katie graduated from book #2 of the Suzuki method today (see photo to the right).
I told the kids that they did so good I would treat them to a “Blueberry Milkshake” at Triple O’s, which Bobby said was the best blueberry milkshake he has ever tried.
We dropped Bobby off at Esca’s house on the way home. We saw an ambulance on the island highway so we did a quick little detour to see what the commotion was about. It looked like a drug bust!
My wife took Katie shopping at Winner’s later today. Bobby didn’t take his watch so we have no way to communicate with him, but I bet he is having fun!
