My wife took Katie to the dentist this afternoon to get a fitting for her new braces. She took Bobby along as well, and since they had a cancellation, they were able to see him. Bobby had no cavities and it is because his teeth have a rough texture that they got stained. My wife thinks that the stain color is due to the prune baby food we give him every evening to make him “regular”.
We interviewed Karen’s replacement this evening. Her name is Renae and her mother is from Spain. We are going to be interviewing other people as well, so it’s not certain as of yet whether she will get the job.
I went for a 35-minute dip in the O2 pool this evening. Before the pool, I stopped off at Wal-Greens to get some child ibuprofen. My wife asked me to pick up some bubbles at the Dollar Store as she is taking the kids to the park tomorrow. WalGreens happened to have a sale on them, so I picked them up there instead (see photo to the left).
I also stopped off at Trader Joe’s to pick up some small ice cream cones, gummy bears, and strawberries. Ice cream cones because she and Bobby and devoured the other ones I bought. Gummy bears because the dentist told her to have them now as she won’t be able to eat them once she gets her braces.
