It’s Victoria Day in Canada today. It is meant to honor Queen Victoria of England.
Katie had her piano lesson this afternoon instead of Wednesday. Miss Laura gave her a bike (see photo to the left) that used to belong to her daughter as they are not using it anymore. It is a beautiful bike and a bit smaller than the one that Katie currently has. It will be easier for her to learn to ride. When Bobby gets older I can always give it a new paint job and even have some Spiderman decals on it or “whatever”.
Bobby loves it when I pick him up and throw him on the bed. He will laugh and laugh and come up to me and say “again”.
Bobby and I got down on the cardboard in the living room this evening and started to color in the various cartoon figures we had drawn a few days ago. I didn’t think anything of it when he started to hit my head with a marker as most of them ended up being dry. I was to later learn that he had one that was full of ink and it put little dots on my forehead.
I went to Trader Joe’s this evening and picked up some melons as they are good for Katie’s sensitive stomach.
