Katie expressed an interest in hunting for gold on St. Patrick’s Day this year. She said that she used to do this in preschool but perhaps the leprechauns forgot about her last year as she didn’t do it.
My wife had me do a supply run this evening. Here’s the order of events:
- Lowe’s – We needed four bags of wood chips (to hide dinosaur eggs in) and four bags of sand for the sandbox.
- Whole Foods – We needed a case of goat’s milk, those “frozen citrus popsicle like things” that Katie likes, a case of rye bread and a case of apple juice.
- Food Lion – The last stop this evening was Food Lion to get four bags of flour and four containers of salt (see photo to the right) so my wife can make dinosaur eggs for Bobby’s birthday. While at Food Lion I also picked up those miniature cupcakes that Katie likes. Terrible nutrition-wise, but Katie loves them and a special treat every now and then is okay.
