Day #3728 (Sat., Mar. 21, 2020) – Coronavirus Stats

Katie is doing a good job in taking care of Bobby during this “lock down”. I told her that I am going to treat her to a great Daddy/Daughter Day once this is all over… I’m glad that I took her to Baskin-Robbins for our last Daddy/Daughter day. Who knows when we will have another opportunity to do things like this again. I suspect that once it’s all “back to normal”, going to restaurants or ice cream shops will feel “rather strange”…

Katie had a Chinese class via Zoom this afternoon. There will probably be many more of these to come.

Bobby rode his bike without training wheels this afternoon (see photo to the left). Unfortunately he’s still a bit unsteady so we put the training wheels back on for him. It’s a pretty easy process really. Once he gets so that he no longer bounces back and forth between the training wheels, you take them off. The fact that he no long bounces back and forth with training wheels shows that he has mastered balancing the bike.

I was not sure if I should include the corona virus stats in this blog, but since this is an integral part of our daily life these days, I thought I had better.  You can see the stats in the photo to the right…

Currently the United States is behind Italy and China with 25,493 cases, but cases in the Unites States are exploding.  Cases in China have stabilized and Italy’s curve is starting to get better.  We will be the #1 on this list soon…and I’m not sure when we will see it start to stabilize…
