Day #3729 (Sun., Mar. 22, 2020) – Harris-Teeter Pick-Up
Our groceries are ready at Harris-Teeter so we went to their grocery pickup lane to get them this morning (see photo to the right). We placed this order about a week ago, and we were disappointed with what they gave us. They didn’t have a lot of things that we ordered. For example, there was no pasta. We bundled up the kids and took them with us…a “cheap” road trip if you can call it that. Two years ago Tennessee, last year Disney World, this year … the “Harris-Teeter” pickup lane…
After picking up our groceries we took the opportunity to drive around town. We saw that Food Lion has home delivery now, so we will try that option out next time. It’s nice to just have things left on your door rather than even having to go pick it up.
Bobby wanted to go to the park as we were driving around town. We had to explain to him that the parks were closed and that we could not go for a while. He’s holding up pretty good considering…
Katie was really happy to get milk today via Harris-Teeter. She loves her cheerios cereal (especially when I mix in Fruit Loops).
