Day #3730 (Mon., Mar. 23, 2020) – Making Cookies
We are lacking in sweets around the house these days, so I decided that I would bake some cookies (see photo to the right). I picked the easiest recipe I could find. Sugar cookies. I added maple syrup and when I ran out of that I could not find the sugar, so they came out not too sweet…which was actually nice. Bobby ate them and asked for more.
I gave the kids a “rubber ball” making kit that I picked up at the Dollar Store a while back. My wife made it with the kids this morning.
I put the finishing touches on the Kindle “short story” about dog walking that Katie and I worked on at Dunkin Donuts a while back. Just before I hit the “submit” button I decided that it needed a bit more. It needed more of an emotional “hook”, so I think that I will add to it and publish it along with Katie.
Bobby put on a “torch” Halloween costume that he found in ottoman my wife rests her feet on. He was racing back and forth in the living room and eventually had a wrestling match with Maple over Maple’s sea otter toy.
