Day #5589 – (Fri., Apr. 25, 2025) – Shoreline Orthodontics
Bobby is home sick today but Katie went to school. Bobby’s head is better but he might have a virus. You can seem him hard at his gaming in the photo to the right. He was playing with Ethan and I said hello to him as my “Paul McCartney Buddy”!
Our hen has graced us with two fresh eggs and my wife and Kristina enjoyed them with their breakfast this morning. Kristina really wanted to see the chickens so my wife took her to the barn for a visit. She likes chickens and only started to date her current boyfriend because he had chickens on his online profile.
I took Katie out of school at 11:10 am this morning and drove her down Cliffe Street to her appointment at Shoreline Orthodontics. While there I partook of their free coffee an wifi while I waited. When the appointment was over I drove her back to school.
You know, I am really liking November in the Comox Valley. It’s pretty rainy, and the days are very short, but it’s not miserably cold like it is in most of Canada. The best thing about it is that I makes you really appreciate the spring and summer here…they are beautiful!
Kristina left for Victoria this afternoon as she has a party tonight. My wife and her walked for 7 km yesterday and 5 pm today.
Katie was practicing volleyball this evening and I told her she can bounce it off the side of the barn if she wants. Not where the garage door is, but the wooden doors on the side as there is nothing she can damage there.
Later tonight she went outside to enjoy the fresh air and cool breeze on the swing.
