Day #5600 – (Tue., May 6, 2025) – Cat Mat Toy!
The whole family is sick again! Fortunately I’m “insulated” in the “Barn Suite”. The kids both have sore throats and my wife is working through “nausea”.
Bobby had a nap this afternoon, and my wife had a couple of naps. Katie tried to sleep but could not, but kept trying. As she said “I feel like I got dunked in a volcano”. Katie doesn’t think that she will be well enough to go tomorrow. My wife had two naps today!

This evening Katie requested that I go to McDonalds to get a “2 Cheeseburger EVM” meal for her and Bobby. I didn’t get the message till later, and by that time the urge had blown over. It’s probably better to stay way from this sort of food anyway, especially when you are sick!
Bobby felt better toward the end of the day. Katie said that she could hear him screaming as he was playing with his VR headset. She asked him to pipe down, to no avail. Will he be able to go to school tomorrow? That’s the question now.
I contacted Dave at Tower Fencing and he responded that he is working on the estimate. It sure appears to be taking long. With this quote we would have to get our own electrician, and Anthony is not very exacting in how much he would charge.
