Remember the “Pine Siskin” bird that ran into one of our windows in the main house? The one that my wife and Katie took to the MARS Rescue Center up the street? Well, it was released back into the wild on June 5th. The lady said that they often have 3-4 of them ready to go and they get released together.

Katie wanted to be picked up before lunch today. She found out that her friend isn’t at school today and has nothing to do in any of her classes. This is her last week of classes for the year.
My wife made a flower arrangement for the dining room table from flowers growing on our property (see photo to the right).
I picked up Bobby at Huband Elementary at 2:30 pm today. He has a sore arm, but did go to school. He’s not well enough to ride his bike just yet. Maybe tomorrow…
We are waiting for the lawyer to send us an email of updates so we can get our will signed. It’s been a while since we saw them… I wonder if they have forgotten us?
This evening the kids had their viola/violin group class. Bobby went after Elise and Katie went after Parker. My wife said that both kids played their pieces wonderfully! Katie as always is very soulful, something missing in other performances. Bobby was very careful and played nicely in tune – even though his arms were still very sore from the COVID shot.
As a special treat they went and got Boba on the way home.
