Katie and I went for a drive this afternoon. We stopped off at Starbucks where Katie picked up a pumpkin spice drink (their fall menu is here) and a cake pop (see photo to the right), making this Daddy/Daughter Chat #53.
Katie was saying how driving freaks her out and I suggested she talk to Amy about it, and even see if Amy happens to know a driving instructor who specializes in teaching ADHD and/or Autistic kids (if someone like this even exists).
Bobby didn’t want to design a Roblox game with Katie today as he was playing with Ethan. He did want to though, just playing online with Ethan took priority. Once Ethan was gone, Katie and him sat on the couch in the living room figuring out what this game would entail.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we have done no preparation for it. Rather than cook a turkey and dinner this year we looked for a simpler option. That option was a takeout from White Spot! Bobby doesn’t like turkey (surprise, surprise) so he got their kid’s pirate hamburger meal, which he actually loves. The rest of us will have turkey dinners. We plan to pick it up at White Spot tomorrow morning and have the celebration at noon. Oh, and we did order a pumpkin pie from them as well.
