Day #1401 (Mon., Nov. 4, 2013) – Neighbor Breakin
Katie likes it when daddy makes her a “plate of all sorts of things” as shown in the photo to the right.
One of our neighbors had her house broken into. They left the place pretty much “as is”, but they did rummage through the drawers. The cops said that they were either looking for jewelry or guns. Irregardless of what they were looking for we have started to think more and more about a more robust security system for our house. We have a number of options available and are definitely going to pursue them.
Katie went to bed around 5:15pm this evening…just before I arrived home from work. She woke up around 8pm…crying profusely. When she fell asleep in the LazyBoy my wife just put her in bed so she didn’t have a diaper on. She was “soaked”. I scooped her up in my arms and carried her to the master bedroom where we cuddled and watched “Superman Cartoons” til she felt better.
Katie wanted a smoothie this evening. She had a hankering for strawberries. My wife made her a smoothie out of mandarin oranges, milk, honey, etc. Katie drank a bit of it but still put in a request for a strawberry version. Back to the blender. Katie was happy with the second smoothie.
