Day #1410 (Wed., Nov. 13, 2013) – Wal-Mart Glasses
I had an optometrist meeting this afternoon and it was deemed that I needed reading glasses. I guess at my age it was bound to happen. I wanted my wife to help me pick out frames so I went home to pick her up. When the selection at the optometrist was less than satisfactory we decided that we would pack up Katie and go to Wal-Mart (see photo to the right).
Katie had a great time trying out the various glasses. She is such a young fashionista… After ordering a pair of glasses and picking up some paper products we ended up at the book section. Of course Katie started to reading them on the floor.
We were planning on picking up some Joey Bag of Donuts’ at Moes, but as the line was long we ended up at Subway. A footlong oven roasted chicken for my wife and I and a presonal pan pizza for Katie. Katie was sleeping in the back seat of the car when I picked the meal up but when we took her out of the car at home she said “How come we are not going to Moe’s. Can I have some pizza”. She was obviously sleeping…but not in a real deep sleep.
