The photo to the right shows the “Remote Control Tarantula” that daddy (i.e.: Katie) got for Christmas this year.
I didn’t get my Daddy/Daughter Day in for December so I decided that I would take Katie to Chuck E Cheese’s today. As we were driving out of the driveway Al showed up. He wanted to know if Katie wanted to come over and try out Gabbie’s new swing, so off we went. We played on the swing for a bit, then took a bike ride up and down Cedar Street. When Al wanted to go home to check on his other Katie and I left and headed for Chuck E Cheese’s.
At Chuck E Cheese’s Katie was too excited to eat so we went through about $5 worth of tokens. By the time we left Katie got some smarties and Laffy Taffy as her reward for winning the various games.
Once home I made Katie a hot dog and two bowls of broccoli. My wife arrived home…she had been out shopping for Katie’s birthday party next week.
Once Katie fell asleep we all had a nap. When I got up I went to A.C. Moore to pick up a fish making craft for Katie’s birthday party, which is one week from today (where does the time go).
This evening Katie said that I never did anything for her and wanted me to make pancakes… 🙂 I gave her some warm milk as well.
Robin was behaving a bit like a dog this evening. I would throw the spring into the corner of the room and he would retrieve it and bring it to me at the LazyBoy. He did this about five times. Eventually Batman got into the act and they started to fight.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Katie said I never did anything for her so she asked me to make her pancakes.
