Day #1557 (Wed., Apr. 9, 2014) – The Frozen Book
I’m still sneezing and coughing so I worked from home today. My wife dropped Katie off at school and then took the car to work. Stephanie picked Katie up at noon and drove back to our place. I guess all my coughing caught Katie’s attention and she wanted to come down to the bedroom to see me. It was hard to coax her out…but I told her that I needed to take a nap. That seemed to do the trick.
Stephanie took Katie to Southern Seasons this afternoon. This evening Katie showed me the treat that she got…some white chocolate-covered pretzels.
My wife got some new books for Katie this evening. One of them was about “Frozen” (see photo to the left)…the movie that Katie loves and runs around the house singing the theme song from. It even has stickers inside it. Katie was looking for stickers of the “Ice Queen”…I guess that that is her favorite. It didn’t seem to have any…maybe this book is just a smaller version of part of the movie. Anyway I read Katie the book and passed the book reading exercise over to my wife.
