Day #1571 (Wed, Apr. 23, 2014) – Frozen Sticker Book
Today was “CowGirl” Day at Katie’s school. Katie looked adorable in the little cowgirl outfit she wore. She even took her stick pony along to ride. When I dropped her off she was in my opinion the best dressed cowgirl there…
This evening my wife and I bundled up Katie and drove over to the Carborro Plaza to meet Everett. Sergio soon arrived with his Toyota Camry and after taking it out for a drive we decided to buy it. We’ll meet at BB&T tomorrow to finalize the deal. Nice to have some wheels under me again.
We were thinking that we might be able to take Everett and his wife and daughter out for dinner but they were tired and wanted to go home. Katie and Everett’s daughter, who is seven, played so nicely together. They took a raincheck so we will do it some other time.
With the car situation resolved we drove over to Maple Dairy Farm for some ice cream and then to Barnes & Nobles to get a “Frozen Sticker Book” for Katie (see photo to the right). By the time we got home it was around 9pm so it was time for Katie to go to bed.
