Day #1755 (Fri., Oct. 24, 2014) – Baby Kicks
I took today off from work. The plan was to work on getting boxes ready and taking them to the shed, but that was not to be.
Everett and Darren are here working on staining the patio so my wife and I went out to talk to him about screening in the porch. He thinks he might have a way to put a temporary structure up for about $1000, but he will have to think about the design. We also decided to give him the old white Camry for $250. He also fixed the missing seat belt issue in the back seat of the green Camry by removing the seat.
My wife got a kick from the baby this afternoon. She said she had them a few times before but this is the first time I knew about it.
When my wife got back from taking Katie to school today she went for a nap and I tended to Katie. We decided that if Katie didn’t want to go to soccer she didn’t have to. We don’t want to turn her against the sport in case she might like it when she gets older. We did go to Baba Ghanouj for dinner this evening and a TCBY afterwards.
Katie made strung some beads from berries she found (see photo to the left).

1) We gave Katie the option to no longer go to soccer if she didn’t want to.
