Day #1945 (Sat., May 2, 2015) – Free Comic Book Day
We could not find Robin this morning and none of us let him out. Looks like he has learned how to use the cat door. He’s the smart one…Batman, not so much…
I cooked up some regular bacon this morning. Katie didn’t like it much…her taste buds prefer the turkey bacon. Regular bacon is much stronger and saltier.
I took Katie to Chinese Music Class this morning. No more news on how many people have applied to the Chinese Language Program. Stephen came to class with Gunther and then Genevieve took over half way through.
Today is Free Comic Book Day. Katie and I went and got a whole bag of them and then off to McDonalds for some Chicken McNuggets and a Chocolate Dipped Cone to read them (see photo to the right).
I promised Katie that I would play badminton with her when we got home. I was so tired that I went to bed for a nap. I did show her the Dollar Store rackets I bought her and we played a few games once I got up.
I went to Trader Joe’s this evening to get supplies for my wife. She is making snacks for Katie’s class this week. This is the largest haul ever…$319.50.
