Day #1949 (Wed., May 6, 2015) – The Ole’ Chipmunk Costume
I put the snacks in the fridge at Katie’s preschool this morning…she was already in the room playing with her friends when I came out.
We have been wondering if the cats actually use the cat door (see photo to the left). Today I got to see Robin in action. He would open the door slightly with his paw and then use his head to open up the rest of the door. Then out he went.
I tried to have a nap when I got home from work this evening. It didn’t work out exactly as I had planned. Katie’s squeaky little voice and the pitter-patter of her little feet put a quick end to daddy’s nap.
My wife found the first Halloween costume that Katie ever wore…the chipmunk costume I made for her back in 2010. She wore it this evening while she played around with little Bobby.
We were out of diapers this evening so I had to go get some at the local Wal-Greens. They had a special…buy one package and get another at 50% off. Not as good as the 2-for-1 they used to have but I’ll take it.
Little Bobby is getting heavy. It’s hard to hold him and his legs are strong now so they will get in the way if you try to sit him on your tummy.
