We have not been able to walk this week as it has been close to 100 degrees outside. We’re starting to miss it as not only was it good to get out and see the sights, it was a good form of exercise as well. The option is to just stay at home and watch television. So this evening we decided that we would drive down to the local University Mall for a walk.
We bundled little Bobby and Katie up around 6:15pm and off we went. When we arrived little Bobby was already sleeping in the stroller. I continued to walk him around the mall while my wife and I went shopping at the “Little Red Hen”. Little Bobby is growing so quickly that we need to get some larger clothes for him. The “Little Red Hen”, a local consignment shop inside the mall was a great place to start.
At the other end of the mall a Radio Shack outlet was closing down. I was able to get a charger for my Samsung Note 4 for only $2.00. When my wife and Katie were done at the “Little Red Hen” to went back to Radio Shack with them so they could see the bargains. We ended up leaving with about $40 of batteries. They are good til 2015 so we’ve got about 10 years to use them.
This evening I started to read Katie the book “Black Beauty” (see photo to the left). My wife is reading her “Mary Poppins” so I thought it would be good to have another book that I personally read to her from. I gave her a number of choices but as soon as I described what “Black Beauty” was about she said “I want that one”. As I put her to bed this evening I finished the first two chapters.
