Day #2429 (Sun., Aug 28, 2016) – Whole Foods Kid’s Shopping Cart
I’ve been eyeing the kid’s shopping carts at WholeFoods for a while now. Knowing how much Bobby loves cars I was sure he would love this. Despite my knee acting up all four of us went to WholeFoods to try them out. It’s one of those things that if you don’t do it…time will pass and you wish that you had.
Both Bobby and Katie were able to fit inside and since there were two steering wheels it was ideal (see photo to the left). Bobby was in his glory! He was bouncing up and down and really enjoyed honking the little yellow horn.
Afterwards we went to YoPop so Katie could have a cool treat. She’s been wanting to go there for a while. The owner happened to be there so we introduced Bobby to her. We think she saw him back when he was still in his baby seat. Katie got a HUGE bowl of frozen yogurt…so much that she was unable to finish it. We’ll have to keep an eye on how much she takes in the future.
Tomorrow is the first day for Katie as a 1st Grader! This afternoon Katie consolidated her reading list…a list of all the books that she read this summer. She read quite a few. I’m sure her teacher will be impressed.
This evening Bobby had fun throwing the ball to Ginger. He would give this little scream before he threw the ball. This is one of Ginger’s favorite things to do so she was in her glory!
