Day #2550 (Tue., Dec. 27, 2016) – Make Your Own Pinata
When I got up this morning my wife was tired so after she put Bobby to bed she went to bed for a nap as well.
Katie is very unsettled today. She wanted to have friends over but Wyatt and Helen were not available. We played the Zoo Logic game that Katie got for Christmas. She really has a logical mind and is very quick at figuring out which scenarios are right.
When my wife got up from her nap I decided that I would take Katie to Small Cakes (her suggestion) for a cupcake. She purchased a birthday cake cupcake and got a “punch” in her card so that she will be able to get a free cupcake after she purchases six.
On the way home we decided that we would stop off at Party City and get the “Make Your Own” Pinata we have been talking about (see photo to the right).
After dropping Katie off at the house I stopped off at Lloyd Tire to get my car inspected and registered.
We got a box of Christmas gifts from my sister this afternoon. I’m not sure what’s up with the customs department but it sure takes a long time for packages to come from other countries. My wife got a necklace and the kids got plush animals while I got lots of photos of when I was growing up. There was even one of me sitting on my toy tractor.
