Day #2635 (Wed., Mar. 22, 2017) – Doctor + Dentist
Katie was not feeling well this morning so my wife kept her home from school. As a result, I didn’t have to drive her to Glenwood, which means I got an extra hour of sleep.
The doctor thinks that she just got another virus on top of the last one she had. The results of the strep test was negative, but there is still a chance of mono. Since her lymph nodes are not swollen it looks like it is just another virus. We’ll just wait and see… There is no treatment for mono…it’s just more to be informed of what is going on. Confirmation of that would require that Katie gives some blood.
My wife took Katie to the dentist this afternoon. She had no cavities. The dentist said that she would probably need braces soon. They can do it in the office and they will just affect the molars. It will cost around $1200 and it looks like my insurance will pay for a good deal of it.
Gunther showed up at our doorstep this evening. My wife texted Genevieve and she came to get him. He enjoys playing with our toys (see photo to the right).
