Day #2646 (Sun., Apr. 2, 2017) – Dzenen’s Mom Goes Home
Ginger has a new haircut (see photo to the right).
This evening there was a going away party for Supha (Dzenen’s mom). She is going back to Bosnia and her son and daughter-in-law wanted to give a party to send her off. My wife and I bundled up Katie and Bobby in the van and off we went. It was for all intense purposes a block party for the close neighbors (off Franklin Street in Carrboro). Lots to eat and drink. They had frizbee throwing into trash cans for entertainment. Bobby loved the “coconut fruits” that they had for dessert.
While at the party I took this fantastic picture of Katie picking up a frizbee. The sun was shining on her golden locks and you could see her toothy grin. Everyone loved it. My wife made me send it to her when we got home this evening so she could send it out. It looked like something out of Hollywood…
Katie was spent when she got home. Is it meeting people that is tiring her out?
