Day #2671 (Thu., Apr. 27, 2017) – Break In The Water Main
The photo to the right shows the lunchbox jokes that my wife packs with Katie’s lunch every day.
Katie was crying this morning as she was drinking her smoothie. Apparently, the braces are making everything she eats and drinks a challenge. Luckily I haven’t heard too much about the heartburn issue as of late.
They had a break in the main water line on Cedar Street this evening so trucks were down there trying to repair it. One of our neighbors said that we should take Bobby down there as he would love all the action. Alas, it was bedtime for Katie and Bobby. We’ll take him next time.
My wife sent me information about former Disney Imagineer Bob Baranick and his plans for a theme park called “Whirligig Woods”. He bought 21 acres in Alamance County, just outside Chapel Hill, and plans a charming little experience with train rides, haunted houses, and tree houses. It will cost $25 for adults and less than that for children.
