Day #2673 (Sat., Apr. 29, 2017) – High School Musical
My wife took Katie to see “The Sound of Music” at High School (see photo to the right). I just happened to see a sign advertising it near the Chick-Fil-A at SouthPoint. It was really cheap and great entertainment to boot. They encouraged the audience to sing along with them. My wife took Katie strawberry picking afterwards.
While they were away I tended to Bobby. When he woke up from his nap I went and got him and changed him. When I took him to the living room there was this little voice saying “Hi”. I thought I was hearing myself at first, but low and behold, Guenther was in the living room playing with Katie’s toys. I texted my wife to inform her so that we could tell his parents where he was.
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies this evening. I picked up a New York cheesecake for all those strawberries they picked up this afternoon.
This evening the kids wore off some energy by dancing around to “I’m Still Standing”. I found the YouTube video of the gorilla singing it in the movie “Sing”.
My cell phone broke this evening. I thought that I would need to go to Best Buy tomorrow to get it looked at, but as it turns out, the battery was loose. I reset it and I’m back in business.
