Day #2967 (Mon., Feb. 19, 2018) – Governor’s Wife Sees Performance
It’s President Day here in the United States. Bobby and I both have the day off. Katie and Laura do not. Go figure…
The governor’s wife came to see the Chinese performance of Katie and her class at Katie’s school today. Katie managed to lose her belt somehow yesterday…we are trying to find out where…
Katie told me that she had pepperoni pizza for school lunch today. I thought she didn’t like pepperoni pizza? She said that this one was different because it was homemade.
This evening Bobby and I made a game out of jumping off the LazyBoy onto the couch. I would hold the little-stuffed giraffe and tell Bobby, “no don’t jump on me”. He would jump on the giraffe with glee (see photo to the right). I’m not sure what he enjoyed more…jumping on the giraffe or watching the video I made on the subject.
This evening I went for a supply run to Trader Joe’s. We needed avocados mostly, but also meats and other supplies. I picked up some baked “cheese doodles” for Katie…thought she might like them.
