Day #3076 (Fri., Jun 8, 2018) – Katie Gets An Award
The photo to the right shows Katie at the award ceremony this morning. She got a “Best Effort” award. Hand delivered on the last day of 2nd grade.
After the ceremony, Katie went back to school and my wife and I went to the Carolina Cafe for a “big breakfast” (we each got one). After breakfast, we drove around Meadowmont and saw the golf course hiding inside the bowels of the community. What a fancy place…hiding on us for all these years.
Bobby is starting to enjoy the pool more now that the “thermal” swimsuits have arrived. He spent a lot of time floating about in an inflatable donut this evening. Steven and the kids came over as well. Russell accidentally threw a ball down the hill and my wife had to go and find it.
Bobby was eating yogurt on daddy’s bed this evening while he watched “The Robinson’s” on Netflix. He forgot to take it away when he left. As a result? Daddy slept in yogurt… Yeech!
Katie mentioned to my wife that she is playing piano better this evening because she is happy. No more Miss Stanford and 2nd grade!
