Day #3077 (Sat., Jun 9, 2018) – Building Duplo Cars
Today is going to be a rather quiet day on the activity spectrum. No activities for either Katie or Bobby are planned. As a result, time to relax and enjoy the “quiet” time.
Katie is organizing her shelves. She is really into graphic novels these days and doesn’t read her childhood books anymore, so the plan is to clean up her shelves to accommodate this fact. The children books we will move to Bobby’s room.
My wife has given Katie a task of reading a couple of German Shepherd books before we get a puppy. This will acquaint her a bit more about the dog breed and help her to read better at the same time.
Zmeden stopped by this afternoon and dropped off a lot of the things that he and his family borrowed from us. They are leaving back to Bosnia in a few days. Part of this list of goods included the Duplo blocks that we let Omar play with (see photo to the right). Bobby was all over them this evening and we spent a great deal of time creating Duplo fire trucks and other vehicles. We have a lot of Spiderman Duplos around the house somewhere…probably in a box. We’ll have to find those next.
