Day #3113 (Sun., Jul 15, 2018) – Paper Computer

2018-07-15 - Paper ComputerWhen I got up this morning Bobby greeted me with “Don’t change the channel”, and then he dutifully hid the remote. He knows that I have a tendency to switch it over to the news…something that he hates.

Katie created a computer out of paper today. You can see Bobby playing with it in the photo to the left.

My wife made a little tunnel for Maple this afternoon out of some toys that the kids had lying around. I guess that Maple did quite well yesterday when they introduced them to the dog training.

Maple did her business in the Lego area where Katie plays. Katie dutifully went over and cleaned it up. She’s NOW learning the real meaning of having a dog. It is not all fun and glory.

Bobby is really into Duplo’s these days. It would be nice if there was an accessory pack of towing hooks and wind-up motors that you could attach to them. If I had money, I would develop an accessory pack like this that was “compatible” with Duplo blocks. I’d make a killing as I bet a lot of parents would purchase this sort of thing for their children. There is only so much you can do with wheels and blocks.

I went to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods for supplies tonight. The big thing on the agenda is snacks for Katie as she will be going to day camp tomorrow. She likes the “orange” corn puffs, so I got her some of those.
