Day #3152 (Thu., Aug. 23, 2018) – Playing Werewolf

2018-08-23 - GiraffeBoth Maple and Bobby like the giraffe’s that Bobby sleeps with. It’s quite a site to see them both with the giraffe in their mouths having a tug of war. You can see the resulting rips in the photo to the left.

I saw Adrian, who works with my wife, as I dropped Katie off at Wildlife Camp this morning. He was dropping his son off.

Katie told me that at camp today they played a game called “Werewolf”. I guess one person is the werewolf and the others do not know and the goal is to find out who it is. There was a lot of running during the game and she was exhausted in the car as I drove her home. I got her mother to pack her two bottles for tomorrow. We don’t want her to dehydrate.

When Katie got home from camp today Maple took one look at her and ran away. She got scared of the pink hat that Katie was wearing. Once she figured out it was a hat she started to rip it up.

Bobby is a very inquisitive boy. He was trying to figure out it worked and eventually held the legs together so that the gears broke. His legs no longer function properly. Bobby is very rough on his toys.

My wife and Katie had a teacher meeting this evening. They both got to meet Katie’s new English teacher. I guess that the teacher said hi to Katie and my wife had to coax her to say hi back. I think the drama with her last English teacher has left her a bit apprehensive.
