When I got home from work this evening little Katie was taking a bath. I said hi to her and left to get changes and she raised such a fuss that I had to go back and stay with her. Daddy’s girl…
While little Katie was taking a bath I let the little green frog soak up some water. When she grabbed it from me and squeezed it the water squirted into her face. What a startled look she had… 🙂
I tried to feed little Katie this evening but she would have nothing to do with it. I even gave her various toys to play with. She did take a couple of spoonfuls, but that was about it. It’s amazing how the opening of her mouth is connected to the presence of a toy (that she likes mind you) in her hands…
I’m starting to read more to little Katie in the evenings before she goes to bed. My wife used to do this, but it helps her out if I can “wind little Katie down a bit” before her sleep time. The photo to the left shows some of the Lithuanian books that my mother-in-law sent for little Katie recently. I can’t read/write Lithuanian, but the pictures are universal and little Katie likes to point at them and go “taa”…
